The Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Pennsylvania is accepting applications from candidates seeking to complete one year of advanced endoscopy training during the 2011 academic year. The fellowship provides advanced diagnostic and therapeutic training with emphasis on ERCP, EUS, Barrett’s ablation, endoprosthetics, advanced imaging, and EMR. The candidate will have teaching and clinical responsibilities with protected research time for projects and the ability to further define investigator initiated specific projects. It is expected that the candidate will participate in existing research protocols and publish. The ideal candidate will have completed a clinical GI fellowship and demonstrated a commitment to the practice of academic medicine. Potential for faculty appointment after completion of fellowship exists.
